Touch points like door handle, electric switches, playing zone, couches, tables, chairs, etc should be regularly sanitized so that the chance of cross-infection are least because it is the easiest way to transmit infection. Various chemicals can be used to clean that surface like sodium hypochlorite, denatured spirit, chlorohexidine, etc.

FEEDING ROOM:-

There happens many times when parents are in queue or in waiting area, when child starts crying and feels hungry so to feed them, there should be separate feed area where mother breast feed or expressed milk can be given.

PLAYING ZONE:-

In pediatric clinic, to keep children busy there should be compact area where two or three playing equipments can be kept on which children can make themselves busy. Keep in mind that area should be regularly sanitized.

APPOINTMENTS AND WAITING AREA:

Since in COVID-19 situation, there should not be crowding of patients in waiting area as chances of transmitting infection increases. Regularly spaced timing slots can be given to patients, and if there is overlapping or there is mixed up appointments, there should be provision to ask parents to wait outside clinic and when their turn comes they can be called cuddleschildclinic.com.

Proper record of patients and treatment:-

Maintaining record of each and every patient is of utmost importance. Taking consent form for vaccination if any should be there. Complete details of parent and their contact numbers should be maintained. Treatment given of fresh visit or on follow up visit should be recorded so that if in future there occurs need of recalling treatment given, that can be done easily.
